We were very lucky to end our fully funded
Kickstarter campaign (thanks again to every one who contributed) with a wonderful opening at the in Chelsea, New York. Jack Shainman Gallery opened last Thursday, July 11th at the Gallery’s new space on 24th Street. Question Bridge: Black Males and Hank Willis Thomas: Selected Works
The block party that was held right in front of the gallery with a DJ and food trucks was a great success!
Once inside the gallery our guests were very moved by the powerful five-channel Question Bridge installation. We witnessed people entering the installation room and disappearing for a long time.
Hank Willis Thomas presented some of his newest pieces, including Zero Hour from the Wayfarer Series in collaboration with . Sanford Biggers
The show will be on view until August 17th, 2013. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday from 10 am – 6 pm. Be sure to stop by and be prepared to spend some time in the Question Bridge installation room.
Yours truly, The Question Bridge Team
