CURRICULUM

The Question Bridge curriculum is a program for educators, teaching artists, and mentors. It uses the Question Bridge communication model and project content to support the development of visual literacy, cultural literacy, and 21st century skills in high school aged youth. This curriculum helps students develop skills that work to resolve conflict, overcome estrangement, and practice inclusion of others; as well as develop a 21st century framework for understanding identity as complex, dynamic, and multi-faceted.

High School Curriculum Framework
The program is broken into ten-modules that explore emerging themes from the Question Bridge: Black Males art project. The modules can be taught in sequence or as individual selections in school classrooms, after school programs, or mentoring environments. Educators are encouraged to use the material creatively and in a manner that caters to the needs of their students and learning environment.

University Curriculum
The Question Bridge team is working with its scholarship steering committee and university partners to develop pedagogy to engage learners in undergraduate and graduate level course work in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
